went to xformer pile and picked up a 5K p-p handwound out of pair bought several years back - funny 'clunk' feeling as mass shifted inside the tranny - pulled the bells and as suspected the plastic coil former has about 3/32-1/8" of slop and wobble on the iron core - can it be wedged or glued and put to use (besides paperweight)? - am not sure if it has much primary L
