To convert to umhos, multiply the meter reading by:25 on range B, 50 on range C, 125 on range D, and 250 on range E. So a tube that reads 40 on range B is reading 40 x 25, or 1000 umho. The same 40 reading on range D is 40 x 125, or 5000 umho.
