The best I've found for an oil treatment and a polish is a brand called Milsek.Without seeing your speakers I'm not sure if this is the right suggestion or not, but before you treat the cabinets with oil, you might consider a Minwax wipe-on poly finish over the current finish. But the current finish is the deciding factor. If it's a type of lacquer or poly, that's fine. If it's an oil finish, then you might want to prep the wood the best you can and use a wipe-on Tung Oil finish. Use fine grade steel wool in between coats. It will likely require several coats to get the finish looking even. I like Minwax products so I'd go for a wipe-on tung oil with a satin lustre.
