Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Re: Sorry for length.

Dear TAH,

Not only am I suggesting this, but I can demonstrate it quite easily.

One or two development engineers from B&W have already experienced this for themselves and like you they are a bit miffed, which is not unexpected when one experiences something that is outside the simplistic rulebook most speaker engineers live by.

The cabinet loadsing we use is quite a lot better calculated and executed than most, and placing the speaker close to room boundaries further increases bass output between 3 and 6 db.

I know how to interpret your moniker, and you are at the opposite end to my interest.

Sincerely,
Peter Qvortrup
