I like them very much. They replaced a pair of Magneplanar MG-III's that I had for 20 years. Those speaks developed various buzzes and other distortions at low sound levels after a time. I briefly had a pair of VMPS RM-30's after the Maggies, but the radically changing sound with small head movements drove me nuts. That's when I got the Polks. Now Polk has about as much high-end snob appeal as Bose, so if that's your concern, avoid them. But if you're interested in good-sounding speakers in that price range, check them out. They are very smooth and non-fatiguing - clean mids and highs, with adequate bass. I live in an apartment, so kick-ass bass is not compatible with my neighbors. I have no desire to change speakers at this time.
