The incessant internet boasting of being able to run 100m in 10 seconds or less - but only in their back yard, using their stop watch, with no one else around .
That they have "trained" themselves to do it, through repetition and self assessment. Perhaps their wife, friend or relative can attest to it also.
When asked to demonstrate this superb ability on an Olympic track with electronic timers in front of witnesses ....NOOOOOO.
Suddenly, Olympic tracks and timers are worthless and must be avoided at all costs. The testers will have an agenda and biases, always against the boaster. Science doesn't know everything. Etc, etc, etc.
Plus, there is no need to "prove" anything to anyone if the boaster is satisfied with their ability to run 100m in 10 seconds, irregardless of what others think, including that they are full of shyte, or more plausibly...delusional, mentally ill individuals.
