HOW ABOUT THIS? $495 or $895
Audiophilleo2 is an audiophile USB to S/PDIF audio converter designed to surpass all competitive products in terms of end-user features and key technical specifications such as jitter. It is a simplified version of the Audiophilleo1 and does not provide the display and additional advanced features. It makes use of the same software and hardware technologies in order to provide the same ultra low jitter regardless of USB or SPDIF cable choice. This product provides the same high end audiophile sound quality at a lower price point.
It is simply not possible to reach our ultra low jitter levels when using off the shelf components. This means that the USB firmware and output stage had to be custom designed instead of using off the shelf components such as the TAS1020 controller and CS8406 output chip found in many competing products.
Ultra low jitter SPDIF output ( <15ps rms)
Direct connection to DAC without expensive cable
Asynchronous USB transfer
Fixed Frequency Clocks
192Khz 24bit sample rate capable
Windows, OSX, and Linux compatibility with Dual Driver capability
Regenerative power supply which isolates the S/PDIF output stage from USB power
Fully differential ECL galvanically isolated transformer-less output stage
Upgradeable firmware
Machined cast aluminum case for best shielding
Complete immunity to audio vibration even with the loudest playback
The included USB and SPDIF cables/connectors are tested for optimal performance. No need to buy additional cables - they won't improve your sound.
