Just wanted to post an update of my reframing project, finished enough to get the MMGs working, and breaking in. So far, they sound much better than the Fostexs they replaced, and that's with 4 hours break-in....just a few hundred more to go :^)

One thing I noticed is the off axis response, with the pole pieces forward, seems to be down even more then the stock version. But sitting in the sweet spot, I'm getting perfect imaging. This is not a complaint; my original setup was with these in the stock frames/position, on Sound Anchor stands. IMHO, the old way overloaded the room; this is much better, especially in the treble department.

I do plan on adding room treatments, but it almost seems like they will not be necessary. I already have some built, just not covered, so I will be doing them anyway. Also plan on moving the rack into the left hand closet, with just the power amp outside.
