The older Heresy may be run on the 16 ohm tap on most tube amps, the newer II must be on the 8 ohm tap. Plus the 2.83V sensitivity is about 2dB higher on the older ones, when the impedance is taken into consideration that means a 5dB difference on a tube amp. The trade-off is that the F3 point on the newer Heresy is about 1/2 oct lower.
