I don't remember the size of the big port, my big port boxes are in my warehouse but David would be happy to give you that info. I would build them exactly to his plans because they are simple and your not going to improve the design. I tried 22 different variations and everytime I increased the low end extension I would give up the well needed mid/bass. The big port bass reflex is tuned to about 65hz and has little information below that. Depending on what type of music that you listen to that may be low enough. I needed a subwoofer along with.
