What is happening at AtmaSphere?

Hello.

From the way things appear as far as Ralph Karsten's situation at AtmaSphere goes, I am quite worried.

Has a hostile takeover occurred? Things seem to point to that having taken place. Does anyone know the real story?

I find it quite unusual that Ralph has kept silent over this whole affair. Ralph has always been an exceptionally approachable, open, and honest person. This silence has reached the point of becoming a deafening roar. Something must be going on. Something must be wrong here.

Rumors are all over the place that Ralph has been displaced at the very company he founded, and, incredibly, is now being pinched by an unfair Noncompete Agreement. This would preclude him from operating in the high end audio realm. While the semantics of the legal day in which we live have hamstrung many, fairness and ethics will ensure it does not happen this time.

I have always held AtmaSphere in tremendously high regard as a company. Like most successful entities of this kind, AtmaSphere IS Ralph Karsten. And, the AtmaSphere I know would never engage in limiting the ability of a person, especially one like Ralph, to be able to provide for his existence. Perhaps if he is no longer involved, the climate of the company will be different. I hope this is not the case. But, if it is, I can assure those who would be involved in a such a deed, there will be no victory.

The audiophile community knows Ralph Karsten, and holds him in the highest possible regard. He is a member of our family. Company names may come and go, but a man's spirit and lifetime accomplishments can not and will not be erased. While I prefer to live and let live, if Ralph is taken advantage of, the high end audio community will stay away from whatever is left of AtmaSphere in droves. Eventually, Ralph will be back in business, and our business will be there.

Do the right thing!
