Dear Friends, I purchased the Toshiba 3950 and right out of the box it beats my ART DI/O with mods and Theta Data II. Don't forget to put that component on rollers(even my poor man's version using Home Depots concave kitchen cabinet knobs and ball bearings). I thought it had tremendous bass and extended highs. Can't wait to modify it. All for the price of a cryoed AC wall socket! Enjoy good music. jkwinn
