Keep It Simple, Stupid : )Solid wire, low strand count, high purity conductors and minimal amounts of high grade dielectric with a short and straight signal path of the correct nominal impedance will STOMP all of this "fancy" stuff. It doesn't matter if it is expensive commercial offerings or inexpensive DIY designs, they are all trying to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. Just remember, cables are simple conduits for the signal to flow through. The more complex that you make the signal path with the more variables added, the more that signal degradation will take place. Sean
