"As a matter of interest, who (apart from DIY cable sellers who use your design) sells CC coax cables for speaker use? I mean cables from recognised makers and whose products are available through dealers."

The newer Cardas SE line, SE9, SE11 and SE15 are all coaxial cables with center conductors and braids. In these cables, the center conductor is the pos leg and the braid is the neg leg.

The bass cable run in Alon's Black Orpheus tri-wire set up is a coaxial cable with a solid silver coated OFHC copper center conductor, and a silver coated OHFC copper braid. In this cable, the center conductor is attached to the braid at both ends and a single conductor is used for the positive run, and a second single coax conductor is used for the neg run.

I can't think of any others, but I have had a suspicion that the Audience AU24 might be some type of a coax. I couldn't tell from their website. Does anybody know?

Finally, I must agree with those who have posted that Jon's CC89259 is terrific, especially when considering the price. I have constructed several pair and I am currently using them tri-wired to my Alon's, with a quad version on the LF. Their sound has beat everything I have tried, except the Black Orpheus, but they are close, only different. I only wish someone made the raw wire out of a continuous cast copper, or at least OFHC copper, with maybe a solid center conductor. I think it might make a difference, and elevate the sound quality yet another notch.
