i am not familair with the amp you have and i own the bigger martin logans (request and cls).

i can tell you that when i tried the best of the nordost cable on the system ( borrowed during the ces show) the system lost some detail and upper frequencies. i took out transparent reference cables and rca for the test.

i returned them and later i went to the homegrown silver , then to the elco silver and tried the 8 foot pair of goertz m1 speaker cable.

the sound has finally got to where i really like it.

try this simple test.

play the 6th track from roger waters - amused to death cd.
at 26 seconds into the track. listen for the cow to moo in the distance. you will find it very hard to hear with the transparent. you will have to struggle even harder to hear it with the nordost, and you will hear all of it with no effort at all with the goertz.

the goertz wire really allows current to flow to the speakers.
