I have been using an old pair of Tara Labs Prism biwire for the speaker level connection I am using to my powered sub. It's only a 16 gauge wire (comprised of three very small solid core wires per pos/neg). Very small gauge wire. Most would say the larger gauge the wire the better for bass frequencies, and that's all were talking about- extreme low bass. I'd like to try some larger sized cable but my budget is a bit limited right now but I do have some old 12 gauge stranded copper Monster Cable I could give a try. Would this stuff be any good for this? Wanted to get an opinion before I went through the work of hooking them up.

Thanks,
Sean H
