I have extensive experience with the BEL amps and cables. I've owned Mk IIs, MkIVs and Mk Vs. Essentially, the current Mk V is the best amp I've ever heard. Very neutral, lots of power, superior resolution (if the rest of the system is there) and a HUGE improvement over all past versions. If you want comparative info or anything further please let me know. I'll be happy to help.
